Robert Dawson

Since Studying the Willow Pattern for an architecture project (http://www.louisabarfoot.com/Ladywood_Masterplanning_Collection_4.html), I have become very fascinated by its history and its prominence in todays kitchens and dressers. This reinterpretation of the pattern by Robert Dawson caught my eye, and made me look at the historic pattern with a new light.

Here is another use of perspective by Dawson that has been applied to ceramic tiles, to create an optical illusion.

Unknown Beautiful Light

I am unsure of where I originally sourced this image from, the light in itself is beautiful and I can only imagine the intricate shadow that it casts. If anyone knows who it is by please let me know.
